Siddharth Nair
Lead Engineer at M3SIM | PhD Purdue
I am a researcher and technical lead at M3SIM LLC, where we are building next-gen computational tools for structural simulation. My work bridges finite element method (FEM), Reduced order modeling (ROM), and Machine Learning (ML) to create faster, smarter, and more intelligent simulation frameworks — driving the future of simulation intelligence.
I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. I was advised by Dr. Fabio Semperlotti and affiliated to Ray W. Herrick Laboratories.
My research focuses on the development of computational mechanics models using scientific machine learning and finite element method for mechanical and aeronautical engineering structural applications. Specifically, my research experience is in the fields of material design and modeling, wave propagation, acoustics, nonlocal mechanics, structural dynamics, FEM, physics-guided scientific machine learning, and deep neural networks.
